Christina Ramsay, PharmD, MBA

Clinical Pharmacist


Christina is responsible for the management and maintenance of the PBD self-funded drug formularies. Her role as a Clinical Pharmacist involves a great deal of collaboration with multiple teams to ensure clients and members receive exceptional care.

Working alongside members of the Clinical Team, Christina monitors and assesses market trends, as well as reviews data for utilization and quality management. With the goal to exceed client and member expectations, Christina works to provide timely and thoughtful clinical solutions.

Outside of work, Christina enjoys spending quality time with family and friends. An animal lover, Christina enjoys being outdoors and walking her two dogs. Hard-working, dependable, and nice are three words to describe Christina, who loves a good cup of coffee! 


With over 15 years of experience in pharmacy, including retail, prior authorization review and benefit administration, Christina has the knowledge and understanding to excel in her current role as a Clinical Pharmacist at PBD.

Before joining PBD’s team, Christina was a Supervising Pharmacist with Target Pharmacy which provided valuable experience in both pharmacy management and patient care. This experience also helped build a strong foundation in communication with other health care professionals and patients.

With an interest in business and marketing, Christina worked for the Buffalo Bills guest services department as an intern prior to starting pharmacy school. 


Christina is a member of PBD’s Associate Engagement Team as well as the United Way Community Ambassadors, a cross-functional volunteer group involved in community outreach and events. To share her knowledge and experience with pharmacy students and stay connected to the pharmacy community, Christina has been a preceptor for several years.

Christina enjoys watching and participating in several sports, and once bowled a 278.
