ABOUT

Julie joined Pharmacy Benefit Dimensions (PBD) as an account manager in 2019. Having previously spent 13 years as an account manager at United Healthcare, Julie brings extensive experience in account and operations management to PBD’s clients, providing groups with a high level of support and care. A dedicated professional, Julie always keeps her clients’ best interests at the forefront of everything she does for them.

A fervent biker and lover of geocaching, Julie is passionate about spending time outdoors with her husband, Carl, and their son, William. When the inevitable cold of a Buffalo winter hits, Julie enjoys knitting at home.

EXPERIENCE

Julie’s role as account manager has her focusing on self-funded groups both in Western New York and across the nation. She is responsible for ensuring PBD’s clients are meeting their strategic goals and maintaining an overall high level of customer satisfaction. Julie works meticulously to both implement plans for new groups and provide direction to existing clients by effectively analyzing plan data and identifying opportunities to enhance plan performance.

Julie prides herself on her ability to get to the root cause of any issues that may arise, keeping client satisfaction high and ensuring strategies are in place to keep plans running smoothly.

Prior to joining PBD, Julie worked as the Operations Manager for United Healthcare, leading a team of 13 Service Account Managers and serving as the customer voice for the company. Among her duties were developing remediation plans, monitoring and analyzing reporting and metrics to ensure service needs were met and identifying areas for improvement.

COMMUNITY WORK

Julie participates every month in Slow Roll Buffalo, an Independent Health-sponsored weekly bicycle ride that encourages individuals to reconnect with members of their community in an activity that is inclusive of and healthy for all. Slow Roll Buffalo rides often benefit charitable organizations, such as Ride for Roswell and Make-a-Wish.

An avid bike rider, Julie rode over 1,000 miles in 2019. She plans on participating in Cycle the Erie Canal once the pandemic is over.
