Feidt Joins Pharmacy Benefit Dimensions as Vice President, Chief Technology Officer
Addition of Healthcare Technology Veteran Bolsters PBD’s Focus on Claims Data Decision Making and Real-Time Systems Analysis
BUFFALO, N.Y. – August 11, 2020 – Pharmacy Benefit Dimensions (PBD), a national pharmacy benefit management leader in value-based formularies, formally announces the addition of Leslie Feidt as vice president, chief technology officer to its growing team.
Feidt will focus on developing a vision to leverage information technology in business model design, business process re-engineering, product development and support to establish competitive advantages.
“Leslie brings a tremendous amount of experience in leading and developing IT strategy while overseeing business development activities,” said Lynne Reilly, PBD president. “She will be a tremendous asset, ensuring our core operating systems are capable of rapid response to continually changing business needs.”
Feidt, who began her career at PBD’s parent company, Independent Health, comes to PBD after spending the last 15 years with Erie County Medical Center Corporation (ECMC). At ECMC she served in various roles including HIPAA IT security officer; vice president, chief information officer; and most recently, vice president, IT enterprise integration.
“I guess you could call this a home coming of sorts,” stated Feidt, who worked as an assistant director and HIPAA project manager at Independent Health from 1995 to 2004. “I am excited to join a growing organization still within the healthcare industry that is so focused on customized solutions for customers.”
Feidt earned a Bachelor of Science degree in management, finance, and management information systems from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She has also earned a certificate in managing health care delivery from the Harvard Business School and attended master’s coursework in organizational leadership from Canisius College.
Additionally, Feidt serves on the NYS Chapter Advisory Board of the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), volunteers for Habitat for Humanity and has been an adjunct professor for healthcare informatics program at Trocaire College.
